Charity of the Year 2025
Affinity Lancashire is supporting local hospice care by naming Trinity Hospice as their 2025 Charity of the Year!
We are proud to announce a new partnership with Trinity Hospice, which this year celebrates 40 years of providing outstanding hospice care across the Fylde coast, pledging to raise as much as possible throughout 2025 for local hospice care.
As part of the partnership, we will be raising funds by taking donations at our free events, and we’ll also be welcoming the Trinity fundraising team on the centre over the year with their fundraising stalls and initiatives. The management team will also be undertaking some of Trinity Hospice’s 2025 fundraising events.
Loraine Atkin, Centre Manager, said: ‘We’re delighted to be able to able to support our local hospice as our Charity of the Year for 2025. Trinity Hospice provides such an invaluable care service to people in our local community and we are proud to be able to show our support.
We hope, along with raising valuable funds, we will also be able to increase awareness of the range of services and care that Trinity Hospice offers, and we are looking forward to working closely with the team throughout 2025.”
The hospice’s Head of Fundraising (Interim), Sally Insley, said: “We’re delighted that our friends at Affinity have chosen to support Trinity through a Charity of the Year partnership. It means so much that such a well-known and much loved shopping destination wants to raise as much as it can for local hospice care.
“We’re really looking forward to spending time at Affinity, not only helping them to raise money, but to increase awareness in Fleetwood and beyond about the incredible work we are doing to care for and support people in the area.
“Affinity really is helping us to be there for everyone who needs exceptional hospice care, whether they are in the hospice, in hospital or in a care home or in people’s own homes day and night.”
