We’re so proud to announce that we have been awarded Tourism Business of the Year 2023 at the Wyre Business Awards!
The Wyre Business Awards took place on Tuesday 7 November at Marine Hall in Fleetwood to celebrate successful local businesses excelling in their industries and contributing to the growth of Wyre’s economy. The awards were hosted by celebrated local comedian Steve Royle, with a wonderfully weird and delightfully decadent ‘Willy Wonka’ theme.
We were up against 3 other local businesses in our category, but our fantastic regular events and great social media presence were just two of the reasons as to why we won! Judges also commented on our creative initiatives which as a result have seen an increase in footfall here at the centre. They viewed us as a great destination for locals and visitors alike, with clear work going in to bringing more visitors on a national level.
The whole team here at Affinity Lancashire are absolutely delighted to be recognised for our hard work over the last 12 months and look forward to another fantastic year at the centre.
