There’s a busy week in store for the Healthier Fleetwood team at their Wellbeing & Community Information Centre here at Affinity Lancashire.
On Tuesday 18th July from 11am to at least 1pm it’s the wonderful Pottery Workshops with Autism Initiatives. Pop in to chat with the team, see their work and buy an item to paint on the day or take away for fun at home – either way the glazing and firing is included.
Also on Tuesday, fathers-to-be and new fathers are invited to join Eric from Dad Matters Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre for a brew and a chat about the support available to them. There’s no need to book for this drop-in session.
On Friday 21st July, it’s this month’s FREE advice sessions with the guys from the West Fleetwood Computer Clinic. If you have any questions about your tablet, laptop, PC, smartphone or for data protection, just call in to the Healthier Fleetwood unit from 11am to 1.30pm for their free advice.
Friday is also Healthier Fleetwood’s Chatter Cafe where the kettle will be on. There’ll be somebody to meet and share ideas with, and this week they also have volunteers from the Fleetwood Blue Plaque Project taking your suggestions for local buildings to receive this recognition.
Don’t forget that their Information Centre will be closed on Wednesday 19th July, as the team are attending an event.
